Web & Social Media Content: Digital Equity and Inclusion Week 2022

UMass Amherst Information Technology ran an event to increase awareness of tools and best practices to improve equity and inclusion through tech at the university.

I built the custom landing page which tied the event together, as well as social media graphics with a consistent visual style.

The concept was of course to work within the UMass Amherst brand, but to use a secondary color heavily to distinguish these posts and pages from our usual content, and to tie it all together visually.

We wanted to push attendance of the in-person and online events, so the social media content featured each day's schedule.

The social media content was designed to include a snippet of the information we featured each day, so that people who didn’t click through could still learn - while providing further details on the website.

The finale of this little media campaign was a longer post with stories from university community members, which I think worked very well in the Instagram slideshow post format.
