Photography

I do a lot of landscape and nature photography. I like to make images that can encourage people to explore the world around them by highlighting beauty and unseen details in ordinary places - or telling stories about places and things people might not know about yet.

I do a pretty wide selection of the subgenres of “landscape and nature’ photography - from plant macrophotography to birds and wildlife to astrophotography.

I'm also starting to get into more documentary-style photography.

It seems different from landscape/nature on the surface, but both are about getting yourself in the right place at the right time to capture a moment and tell a story.

I don’t have many examples online yet, because this type of content is different from what I would put on my combination print store and online gallery, but here are some examples from a union rally at UMass Amherst.
